Ukrainian twice lost with a score of 3:6 in both games
Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina lost in the semi-finals Wimbledon 2023.
The Ukrainian lost in two sets Markete Vondrousova from the Czech Republic. In the first game, the Czech took three serves from Elina, losing one of her own. In the second set, Svitolina, losing 0:4, managed to make two breaks. However, the Ukrainian again lost the rally on her serve and completed her performance at the tournament.
Recall that in the quarterfinals Svitolina beat the first racket of the world Iga Sventek from Poland. Before that, Elina passed Venus Williams, Eliza Mertens, Sofia Kenin and Victoria Azarenka.
