Olympic champion Tatyana Navka expressed confidence that his former ice dancing partner Roman Kostomarov in the future will be able to go on the ice, noting that she could invite him to participate in the show.
Kostomarov left hospital in early July, where he had been since January. The 46-year-old figure skater suffered several amputations.
Did you manage to talk to Roman? Do you have any ideas for inviting him to the show?
– Of course. I believe he will go on the ice. I don’t know in what capacity, but I don’t doubt it. I talk to him often. It seems that if a person walks, he can go on the ice, but it’s not so easy. There are a lot of details and moments that need to be overcome. A novel with an incredible will, an Olympic character. He is a born champion. I believe that he will go to the ice and overcome this obstacle, – the correspondent reports Navka’s words.
Kostomarov, along with Navka, won gold at the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin in ice dancing. In addition, the duo won twice at the world championships, three times at the European championships.
