Invincibility is to keep running: the 7th traditional half marathon will be held in Lviv on September 3

The Lviv Half Marathon, which has been held in the heart of Galicia every year since 2016 and was interrupted only by a full-scale invasion, is returning to the streets of the city of Lion. On September 3, 2023, Ukrainian professional and amateur athletes will again overcome their distances on Lviv paving stones.

Registration for Day 557: Lviv Invincibility Half Marathon 2023 from Run Ukraine is already started on the sitee.

The half-marathon will be held in the format of a full-fledged city run: with a starting arch near the Opera House and along the track, which will run throughout the indestructible Lviv. Favbet became the general partner of the race.

“Runners who start on September 3 will do so on the 557th day since the full-scale invasion. The 557th day of a new reality — the reality of Invincibility, — says Run Ukraine Organizing Director Ivan Tretyakov. – On September 3, people who were offered to surrender in the first hours of the struggle will run through the streets of Lviv. Ukrainians who were given 72 hours. And they ran to the 557th day and will run further, to the very finish line. Until victory.”

Participants will be able to choose both the main distance – 21 km, and smaller ones (5 km and 1.6 km), and for the youngest participants, registration for children’s races will be opened later.

From 50% to 100% of the profits from the purchased registrations (depending on the type of registration) will be donated to the charitable foundation “Unbreakable”which is engaged in prosthetics and rehabilitation of victims of Russian aggression.
