Three-time Olympic synchronized swimming champion Maria Kiseleva said it is difficult for athletes to wait for a decision on admission to international competitions.
On Friday, a meeting of the World Aquatics office was held in Fukuoka, Japan, but the conclusions of the commission on the possible return of the Russians to competitions under the aegis of the federation were not presented there.
– Of course, we expected this issue to be on the agenda of the bureau meeting, but, unfortunately, it was not. It’s hard for athletes to wait for a decision, for them it’s a lifetime. This is the main thing they do, this is their job, – the correspondent reports Kiselyova’s words.
