American Christian Eubanks won
Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk was among the nominees for the award “Inspiring Breakthrough” on Wimbledon 2023.
The victory in the nomination was won by American Christian Eubanks, who reached the quarterfinals of the men’s singles. Also on the list of contenders were Mirra Andreeva, who played in a neutral status, and Czech tennis player Jiri Legechka.
Kostyuk in singles at Wimbledon 2023 reached the third round. In the opening match, the Ukrainian beat the eighth seed Maria Sakkari from Greece.
Ons Jaber from Tunisia and Marketa Vondrousova from the Czech Republic will play in the final of the women’s category, defeating Ukrainian Elina Svitolina. World number one Carlos Alcaras and seven-time Wimbledon winner Novak Djokovic will compete for the title in the men’s tournament.
