Ukraine already has four medals at the tournament
Ukrainian athletes Roman Petruk And Oleg Doroshchuk became silver medalists in the high jump at the youth European Championships U-23 in Athletics in Finnish Espoo.
Petruk and Doroshchuk shared second place, having conquered the bar at a height of 2.19 m on the first attempt. The Ukrainians could not take the next height – 2.22. Turkish representative Ali Eren Unlu became the champion of the competition.
Another Ukrainian Oleg Tikul took ninth place. His result is 2.10 m.
Ukraine has already won four medals at the European Youth Championships in Athletics. Mikhail Kokhan (hammer throw) and Artur Felfner (javelin throw) became champions of the competition.
The U-23 European Championship in Finland will end on Sunday, July 16th.
