During the world swimming championships in Fukuoka, the World Swimming Bureau is not expected to discuss the issue of admitting Russians to international competitions, World Aquatics’ press service told .
On July 14, the office did not hear the report of the commission on the possible admission of Russians.
“During the World Aquatic Championships in Fukuoka, there are no plans to discuss the possibility of the participation of athletes from Russia and Belarus in international competitions,” the press service told .
The Russians have been suspended from participating in competitions under the auspices of World Aquatics amid the situation in Ukraine.
