Ukrainian women had no equal in the free program
Team of Ukraine won the third award World Cup 2022 in water sports, which takes place in Budapest.
The national team triumphed in artistic swimming in the free combination. Ukrainians performed in the following line-up: Marta Fedina, Marina and Vladislav Alekseeva, Olesya Derevyanchenko, Veronika Grishko, Sofia Matsiyevskaya, Daria Moshinskaya, Angelina Ovchinnikova, Anastasia Shmonina and Valeria Tishchenko.
The Ukrainian team showed the best result in qualifying – 93.9333 points. In the final performance, the blue-yellows improved their score (95.0333), not allowing any of the rivals to get ahead of themselves.
For Ukraine, this is the third medal in Hungary. Earlier, 20-year-old Marta Fedina took second place in individual competitions in artistic swimming, and the Alekseev sisters became silver medalists in doubles.
