Alcaraz defeated Djokovic in an incredible match to win Wimbledon for the first time in his career

The fight lasted almost five hours.

Spaniard world number one Carlos Alcaraz became the winner of the men’s singles Wimbledon 2023.

Alcaraz beat Serb in final Novak Djokovic. Tennis players spent almost five hours on the court.

For the entire match, Carlos converted 5 of 19 breakpoints, giving Novak five games on his serve. The Spaniard also made nine aces and seven double faults. Novak has two takeouts and three double faults.

20-year-old Alcaraz won Wimbledon for the first time in his career. In 2022, the Spaniard triumphed at the US Open.

Djokovic failed to win the Grass Major for the eighth time in his career. For the 36-year-old Serb, this was the 35th Grand Slam final. Novak has 23 Grand Slam titles.

Marketa Vondrousova is the 2023 Wimbledon women’s singles champion. Ukrainian Ludmila Kichenok and Mate Pavic from Croatia won the mixed doubles.
