The coordinating headquarters of the fund in Zagreb (Croatia) handed over another batch of humanitarian aid to the territorial unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the Lviv region
Charitable Foundation Favbet Foundation, whose goal is to create an ecosystem of positive influence and provide conditions for the development of children’s sports and sports infrastructure, educational programs and government initiatives, suspended all planned projects and refocused on helping victims in Ukraine and abroad. Today, 95% of the fund’s projects are aimed at helping internally displaced persons, supporting the army and rehabilitating wounded soldiers.
“Helping the country and the army is a completely normal position for a business that was founded in Ukraine, developed, worked and continues to work here. I can’t even imagine the fund behaving differently. I am very glad that during the war I, like my colleagues, can do what I love. Charity is my responsibility to myself and my inspiration”– emphasized Marianna Kovenya, curator of the Favbet Foundation.
The press service noted that they have increased the range of humanitarian assistance services. Recently, more than 500 kg of food and more than 300 kg of medicine and antiseptic hygiene products were donated. Logistics processes are also fully provided by the headquarters team.
Recall that during the war, the Favbet Foundation team:
- She developed a logistics route from Lviv to Kyiv and transported more than 100 tons of humanitarian aid on her own.
- Participated in the purchase and transfer of 3 ambulances in the Nikolaev region.
- Donated 2 armored vehicles and the most modern sniper rifle for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
- The office has become a bomb shelter, and the warehouses are conditional humanitarian hubs, where products are sorted before being sent to a particular region.
In addition, the president of the foundation, Andriy Matyukha, announced his intention to help the National Police restore the destroyed offices in the Kyiv region after the war and called on all businessmen to join the volunteer movement.
