Actor Boris Smolkin, father of the figure skater Gleb Smolkina told that he knew nothing about the transfer of compensation funds to the Sports Training Center (TSSP) of the Russian national teams.
On Tuesday, Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) press officer Olga Yermolina told that Smolkin and her dance duo partner Diana Davis had independently compensated CSP for funds spent on their training. Earlier it became known that next season’s Russian couple will represent the Georgian national team.

Davis and Smolkin are silver medalists of the Russian Championship, participants of the 2022 Olympics in Beijing. The figure skaters did not participate in national competitions last season.
