Belarusians Yevgeny Sobol and Sergey Shevchenko from the Minsk Cycling Club team became the winners of the pair race as part of the sixth stage of the Gold of Ladoga cycling race.
The athletes covered the 44 kilometer distance in 54 minutes 40 seconds. Artem Gomozkov and Nikita Vasiliev (Sestroretsk) finished second, Ilya Baidikov and Evgeny Zotov (Samara Region) finished third.
Shevchenko leads the overall stage race classification. The second is Sobol, the third – Gomozkov.
Athletes from five countries take part in the competition: Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates.
The cycling race “Gold of Ladoga” will end on July 20.
