The start of the tournament is scheduled for July 29
draw first and second preliminary rounds Cup of Ukraine will take place on July 21st. The ceremony starts at 13:00.
Six teams will take part in the first preliminary round – four amateur clubs and two representatives of the Second League. The base match day is July 29th.
32 teams will play in the second preliminary round. The three winners of the first round will be joined by 29 clubs from the First and Second Leagues. Matches of this stage are scheduled for August 2. In both rounds, the winner will be determined by the results of one meeting.
The current holder of the Ukrainian Cup is Dynamo, which in the final of 2021 minimally beat Zorya. In the 2021/22 season, the tournament was completed ahead of schedule at the 1/4 final stage due to the full-scale invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine.
In the 2022/23 season, the Ukrainian Cup was not played due to the busy schedule of the Ukrainian championship, matches of the national team and the participation of Ukrainian clubs in European competitions.
