The Summer Olympics will take place in France from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
“If earlier, before the Olympics, they discussed contenders for possible medals and records, now all conversations boil down to the admission of athletes. This is a bad trend for sports. I hope that Russian athletes will go to the 2024 Olympics, but there is no certainty,” Tarasova told RB Sport.
Previously, IOC President Thomas Bach urged not to discriminate against Russian and Belarusian athletes at international tournaments.
