Russian volleyball player Alexander Kimerov, in an interview with a correspondent, said that after the suspension he plans to work with children and wants to leave something good behind.
Earlier, the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) announced that Kimerov had been suspended for two years for an anti-doping rule violation. The volleyball player’s suspension took effect on December 9, 2022 and will end on December 8, 2024. The athlete has accepted the sanction imposed by the FIVB.
“I would like to work with children. Exaggerated, but in our time, for the most part, we were paralyzed, and only the survivors made it to the top. I want to leave something good,” Kimerov told .
Kimerov is 26 years old. Last season, the diagonal played for Yaroslavich, previously played for Novy Urengoy Fakel, Moscow and Krasnodar Dynamo. As part of the Russian national team, Kimerov became the champion of the Universiade, the bronze medalist of the European Games.
