President of Russian Ski Racing Federation (FLGR) Elena Vyalbe told she had not been contacted about the skiers transitioning Kirill Kilivnyuk and Alina Shestakova in biathlon.
Earlier, the Radio Skiing Telegram channel reported that Kilivnyuk and Shestakova have switched to biathlon and will compete for Udmurtia.
– They are not members of the Russian national teams, so they did not contact me about the transition to another sport. I can’t say anything about the outlook. I just wish you good luck! – said Vyalba “”.
Kilivnyuk, 25, is a two-time winner of the Junior World Relay Championships. 25-year-old Shestakova at the last Russian championship took 37th place in the skiathlon and 36th in the skating “cup”.
