Former partner of Viktor Tsygankov in Girona signed a contract for five years
Lazio signed the Argentine striker Valentin “Tati” Castellanos.
The forward had a contract with New York City, and spent the past season in Girona together with Ukrainian Viktor Tsygankov. The Romans paid 15 million euros for Castellanos. The striker signed a contract until the summer of 2028.
Castellanos made 37 appearances for Girona in all competitions last season. The 24-year-old striker scored 14 goals in them and gave one assist.
Lazio finished second in Serie A. In the first round of the new season, the Eagles will play Lecce on 20 August. The Eagles will also face Girona Tsygankova on 6 August in the friendly Costa Brava Cup.
