Ukrainian heavyweight was knocked down, but turned the tide of the fight
Ukrainian heavyweight Konstantin Dovbyshchenko (10-13-1, 7 KOs) sensationally defeated the British Matty Harris (5-1, 4 KOs) during a boxing show in Edinburgh.
The beginning of the battle was for Harris. Konstantin was knocked down in the second round, but was able to return to the fight. Dovbyshchenko seized the initiative from the third round, when the Briton showed signs of fatigue. In the fifth round, the Ukrainian carried out a protracted attack, which was interrupted by the referee, fixing a technical knockout.
Dovbyshchenko broke a series of four defeats in a row. Harris lost for the first time in his career.
In his previous fight, Dovbyshchenko lost on points to Briton Moses Itaume. The fight took place on the undercard of the fight between Joe Joyce and Zhang Zhilei.
