“Once you hint at thoughts, they will remember them for the rest of your sporting life” – Kostornaya

Russian figure skater Alena Kostornaya said she could not say yet if she and Georgy Kunitsa are ready for the season or not.

The figure skater held an open practice on Saturday, which was attended by around 70 people.

– You’re in great shape. Tell us about your condition, are you ready for the season?

– It’s hard to say – ready, not ready, once you hint at your thoughts and until the end of your sports life, they will be remembered if something suddenly goes wrong. We train, work, go out and show what we have trained. We will deviate from it.

The competition season begins in September. There will be three shows in August,” reports correspondent Kostornaya.

Kostornaya is the European champion. At the beginning of 2023, the skater announced the transition from single skating to pair skating and began playing with Georgy Kunitsa.
