The cycling team of the Sverdlovsk region had an accident, six people were injured

The cycling team of the Sverdlovsk region had an accident in the Chelyabinsk region, reports the press service of the region’s information policy department.

– According to emergency services, an accident involving a logging truck and a car occurred on July 22 at the 13th kilometer of the Kyshtym-Beliye Egusty highway. The accident injured six people who were on the side of the road. They are members of the Sverdlovsk region cycling team and their coach. The injured were immediately sent to a hospital in the town of Kyshtym in the Chelyabinsk region, the report said.

The Chelyabinsk region health ministry said an injured child was evacuated by helicopter to the Chelyabinsk Children’s Clinical Hospital.
