The Russian rider was expelled from the team for giving a Nazi salute on the podium

The representative of the aggressor country paid for the heinous trick.

Russian driver Artem Severyukhin, who showed Nazi salute, faced the first consequences of his inappropriate behavior during the awards ceremony after the European Junior Karting Championship stage.

The Ward Racing team, represented by a 15-year-old Russian, who competed under the Italian flag, has announced the termination of his contract, GP Fans reports.

The team’s official statement speaks strongly condemning the rider’s actions and unsportsmanlike behavior, which is an unacceptable violation of the ethical and moral standards of the sports code, as well as the impossibility of continuing cooperation with Russian.

In addition, Severyukhin expects disciplinary action, as the International Automobile Federation (FIA) has already launched an investigation into the incident.

Recall that after the stage of the European Junior Karting Championship in Portimao, Portugal, Russian Severyukhin showed a Nazi salute and laughed out loud, and his mother tried to justify his son’s actions by saying he wanted to show the hearts of his team.
