The match between Manchester City and Arsenal will take place on August 6
Ukrainian defender of London Arsenal Alexander Zinchenko can play against Manchester city in the match for FA Super Cup. The fight, known as the Community Shield, will take place on Sunday, August 6, 2023.
So far, Zinchenko has not taken part in Arsenal’s pre-season games, recovering from an injury sustained in the spring.
The Ukrainian missed the end of last season due to calf problems. Earlier it was reported that Zinchenko began working in the main group of the Gunners.
The injury of the Ukrainian prevented Oleksandr from playing in the matches of the national team in qualifying for Euro 2024 with North Macedonia and Malta.
The Ukrainian defender moved to Arsenal last year, signing a contract until 2026. Last season, Zinchenko made 33 appearances for the Gunners in all competitions, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
Arsenal are English vice-champions at the end of the 2022/23 season. On August 12, Mikel Arteta’s team will start the new season in the Premier League with a home game against Nottingham Forest.
