Ukrainian winger – 99% player of the Romanian club
Sunday evening, July 23 Evgeny Konoplyanka flew to Cluj. On Monday, he will undergo a medical and, if nothing extraordinary happens, he will sign a contract with one of the leading clubs in Romania.
The other day the director of Cluj confirmed the information that the Romanian club is close to concluding a contract with the Ukrainian midfielder.
Earlier it was reported that Konoplyanka will sign a two-year contract with the Romanian team. Eugene, whose contract with Cracovia ended on July 1, will move to Cluj as a free agent.
Last season, the 33-year-old Ukrainian played 28 matches for Cracovia in all competitions, scoring four goals and providing two assists.
Cluj won two victories at the start of the new season in the Romanian championship. The Romanian team will play in the Champions League qualification with the Turkish Adanademirspor, the first meeting will be held on July 27.
