Winger scores for Chelsea in friendly against Brighton
Winger Chelsea Mikhail Mudrik appreciated his performance in the control match against Brighton (4:3). The Ukrainian scored the second goal of Mauricio Pochettino’s team in the match.
“I am happy for all the work I have done to score this goal. This is not my full potential. It’s only 20%. I feel good because it’s nice to play under Pochettino. And this is a new team, which is also a pleasure,” Mudrik said.
Mudryk moved to Chelsea from Shakhtar in January and signed an eight and a half year contract. The winger made 17 official appearances for the Blues in all competitions last season, providing two assists.
Chelsea finished 12th in the Premier League and did not qualify for European competition. The Pochettino team will start the new season on August 13 with a match against Liverpool.
