“Bolshunov and Nepryaeva are sufficiently well prepared for this period” – Borodavko

skiers Alexander Bolshunov And Natalya Nepryaeva are quite well prepared for this preparation period of the season, the head coach of the Russian national team told Yuri Borodavko .

On July 23, Borodavko’s group completed the training camp in Malinovka. Within its framework, skiers also organized control races.

– In summary, we can say that the collection went rather well. We had planned to carry out control starts. And they did it not only for themselves, but for everyone. Thus, it turned out to be excellent competitions with a good format. Many coaches and the organizers themselves wanted to make these competitions traditional. So, we faced the collection task. Some athletes had minor issues, but you can’t say anyone didn’t complete the program. Everything is pretty good, everything went in working order.

– Can you single out anyone in particular based on the results of the check runs?

No, I will not highlight anyone. These are all working hours. Everyone was working under a heavy load. And it was necessary to compete, because only in competitions can you achieve almost limited functionality. The guys got away with it. Someone looked a little cooler, someone less. Still, someone has a little more loading. But everyone worked well and raced three starts, three days in a row. It’s expensive. Especially over such long distances.

– How can you assess the form of the leaders of the group Alexander Bolshunov and Natalia Nepryaeva at the moment?

“They are quite well prepared for this period,” Borodavko told .

The Borodavko group includes Olympic champions Alexander Bolshunov, Denis Spitsov, Natalia Nepryaeva and Alexei Chervotkin, as well as Nikita Denisov, Artem Maltsev, Alexander Terentiev, Ivan Yakimushkin, Maria Istomina and Daria Nepryaeva.
