The fight for the title of absolute world welterweight champion will take place on the night of July 29-30
WBO welterweight title holder Terence Crawford (39-0, 30 KOs) shared his expectations from the fight with the WBC, WBA and IBF world champion Errol Spence (28-0, 22 KOs).
“I can retire right now and be considered a member of the Hall of Fame. I believe I have already cemented and carved my legacy in stone. I was just saying that the Spence fight would be the icing on the cake. This will shut the mouth of the naysayers,” Crawford said.
“This fight will silence people who have said negative things when they don’t really know anything about boxing and I will continue to move on. Everything is simple. This is the best fight in boxing in the last ten years, maybe even more.”
Fight Spence – Crawford for the title of absolute world welterweight champion will take place on the night of July 29-30 in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena.
In December last year, Crawford won an early victory in a fight with David Avanesyan and defended the championship belt. Spence last fought in April 2022, defeating Yordenis Ugas in a unification bout for the WBC, WBA and IBF welterweight titles.
