Vladimir Salnikov, president of the All-Russian Swimming Federation (WWF), has announced a special prize for each participant in the Russian Cup final who will repeat or exceed the winning time of the 2023 world champion in Fukuoka over the same distance.
The final of the Russian Swimming Cup begins in Kazan on July 25. The Aquatic World Championship is being held in Fukuoka, Japan, without the participation of the Russians.
– Each athlete who repeats the winning result of the World Championship or swam to the final of the Russian Cup faster than the world champion Fukuoka-2023 will receive one million rubles. This was approved by the presidium.
