Bumblebees bought the Austrian for 19 million euros
Midfielder Bayern Marcel Sabitzer officially moved to Borussia Dortmund. The contract of the 29-year-old player with the Bumblebees runs until June 30, 2027.
It was reported that Borussia would buy Sabitzer from Bayern for 19 million euros, excluding bonuses.
Sabitzer spent the second part of last season on loan at Manchester United. The Austrian played in 18 matches for the Red Devils, scoring three goals and one assist.
Borussia Dortmund missed out on the title in the last round of the 2022/23 season, drawing 2-2 with Mainz. Bayern won the Bundesliga for the 11th time in a row.
In the first round of the new Bundesliga draw, Borussia will host Cologne on 19 August.
