Ukrainian in two sets lost to Dane Tauson
Ukrainian tennis player Daria Snigur lost to a Dane Clara Towson in the first round of the WTA tournament in Warsaw.
The fight lasted less than an hour and a half. The Ukrainian first took the lead with a score of 2:0, but then lost six games in a row. In the second set, Snigur was already catching up. The 21-year-old tennis player was able to equalize with 0:3, but in the end she gave the set to her opponent.
For the entire match, Snigur made three double faults and managed to win back 6 break points out of 11.
Recall that earlier the Ukrainian tennis player won the seventh title in her career, having won the ITF tournament in the Spanish city of Vitoria-Gasteiz.
In the updated WTA rankings, Snigur has risen by 27 positions and now occupies 128th place.
