President of the All-Russian Swimming Federation Vladimir Salnikov told that he does not yet understand how the process of compensating athletes for funds in the event of a change of sport citizenship can be organised.
Such an initiative is being discussed by deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
– I think all of these points should be included in any contractual relationship an athlete has. There must be clear commitments from the start.
“After the fact, how can we solve this now with those who will not sign anything, even if such additional agreements or something like that appear? It’s unrealistic.
“I don’t imagine it well. People discussing it may have information to make a proposal about it. But if there are no contracts, it’s hard even to imagine this process. We have to be patient, to see what they come up with, when there are more questions than answers,” Salnikov told .
