Eight-time Olympic sprint champion Usain Bolt reacted on social networks to rumors about the possible salary of footballer Kylian Mbappe in the event of a transfer to Al-Hilal noting that in this case he is ready to think about reversing the decision to end his professional career.
As Sky Sports previously reported, Paris Saint-Germain have accepted an offer from Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal to sell Mbappe for €300m. Al-Hilal are ready to pay the player a salary of 700 million euros per year. Previously, the Frenchman was kicked out of PSG during a tour of Japan.
“I’m ready to cancel my retirement for a salary of $776 million,” Bolt wrote on his social media.
Bolt retired after the 2017 World Championships in London and still holds the 100m and 200m world record.
Mbappé joined PSG in 2017. As part of the Parisians, the striker became a five-time French champion, won the country’s Cup three times. With the French team, he became world champion in 2018 and vice-champion in 2022.
