Russian TV presenter and singer Olga Buzova responded to commentator Dmitri Guberniev who said that Buzova must necessarily be a rival of the Olympic champion Alina Zagitova in a boxing match, and he will announce the rounds as ring announcer.
“And Dmitry can’t do everything without me,” Buzova wrote on her Telegram channel.
Earlier, Zagitova posted a photo on social media wearing boxing gloves and signed the post with the words: “I’m getting ready for something new.”
20-year-old Zagitova became the first Russian figure skater to win the championship title at all major tournaments: at the Olympics, World Championships, European Championships and the Grand Prix series final.
