Artem Severyukhin withdrew and already declared that he did not accept all Nazi displays.

Artem Severyukhin no longer loved Nazism and everything connected with it. The young racing driver with tears in his eyes apologized to everyone for the public “zigzag” from the podium to his performance.

Recall that yesterday the Russian, acting under the Italian flag, demonstrated Nazi gesture at the award ceremony of the European Junior Karting Championship in Portugal.

The reaction did not last long, and in addition to millions of negative comments on the action, the young Nazi was removed from the team on which he played. After that, the Russian sharply realized that he no longer wanted to follow in the footsteps of Putin’s propaganda.

“I want to apologize to everyone for what happened yesterday at the European Karting Championship. I stood on the podium, I made a gesture that many considered a Nazi salute. But no. I did not support Nazism and considered it one of the worst crimes against humanity.

I rode under an Italian license and won the race under the Italian flag. And the men in front of the podium showed me that in Italy, in such cases, it is customary to press oneself to the chest in the region of the heart, expressing gratitude. I just want to make this gesture. How it all happened, I can’t explain.

I knew I was guilty, I knew I was stupid, and I was willing to be punished. Please make me understand that I do not support Nazism or fascism in this act. I have no desire to hurt the viewers, the pilots, the fans, the team or the broadcast viewers. Excuse me, please, “Severyukhin said.
