Ukrainian woman jumped 2.03 meters
Yaroslav Maguchy became the winner of the athletics tournament in Brno in the high jump.
The Ukrainian won the competition with a new world record of the season, having conquered the bar of 2.03 meters on the first attempt. Yaroslava updated her own record, which she set at the Diamond League stage in Paris (2.01 meters).
In the fight for the first place, Maguchy defeated another Ukrainian, Irina Gerashchenkowhich took the second position with a score of 1.97 meters.
Another representative of Ukraine, Ekaterina Tabashniktook fourth place, losing her place on the podium to Safina Sadullayeva from Uzbekistan.
Next week, on June 30, the next stage of the Diamond League will take place in Stockholm.
