European Diving Championships Ruslan Ternovoi told that he did not watch the World Aquatics Championship in Fukuoka.

The World Cup was held without the participation of Russians, they are suspended from participation in international competitions against the background of the situation in Ukraine.

– After the Russian championship, I was on vacation for 20 days and had a good rest. After that, at the Kremlin Cup, it felt like the year hadn’t skipped.

– Why did you perform on the springboard?

– Yes, I did not plan. The coach said I would also do ski jumping. I was surprised, I said “why”, she said: “I want it like this, this is how it should be.” No problem – the springboard jumped, but I have competed on the springboard before, but that was a long time ago.

– Broadcasts – no, I only saw social media posts. I saw the score. I saw the joy of the Australian, happy for him, light, jumps cool. Everything was deserved.

– You didn’t watch the World Cup so as not to get angry?

– We have already moved away from this and few people from the team have watched. I don’t particularly want to watch – for someone, yes, because he’s upset. As for me, I just didn’t want to watch it, I was on vacation. Of course, it’s a shame to see that my peers, with whom I used to jump and won, are now on the world championship podium.

– There is no certainty about the Asian Games, but do you want to play?
