According to documents obtained by , from January to May 2022, the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) tested 98 Russian skiers for doping, performing 157 doping control procedures.
Andrei Larkov and Ekaterina Smirnova top the list of athletes most frequently tested: they have been summoned five times for doping control. Alexandra Bolshunova checked four times Natalia Nepryaeva – three times, his sister Daria – twice.
These statistics refer only to inspections carried out by RUSADA. Athletes who competed internationally or were included in international testing groups could be tested through their international federations. One control does not mean one test, there may be several tests, for example, when urine and blood samples are taken during the same visit. The exact number of samples donated by athletes is unknown.
