Company Amani Swisswhich owns the Greek football club Arisannounced that she would donate Ukraine specialized drugs for cancer patients in need of chemotherapy, as well as people suffering from radiation sickness.
The total amount of humanitarian aid will be $1.8 million.
“With this donation, we want to practically demonstrate our solidarity with the friendly Ukrainian people at a time when they need the help of all of us,” the club said in a statement.
The official announcement will take place on August 10 before the match between Aris and Dynamo, in the presence of Amani Swiss President and Managing Director Irini Karipidis, Ukrainian Ambassador to Greece Sergiy Shutenko and Consul General of Ukraine in Thessaloniki Vadim Sabluk.
Recall that the first match between Aris and Dynamo will be held in Thessaloniki on August 10. The meeting will be served by an international team of judges led by Australian Jarred Gillett. The match will be broadcast on the 2+2 TV channel. The match will also be shown on the club’s YouTube channel. The game starts at 21:15 Kyiv time.
