His first race will be the Tour of Limousin.
Ukrainian cyclist Andrey Ponomar signed a contract with the Italian Team Corratec.
His first race of the new season will be the Tour de Limousin from 15 to 18 August. Note that the team includes Ponomar’s compatriot Kirill Tsarenko, who acts as a trainee.
Andrey Ponomar is the 2019 European champion in the group race among juniors. In 2021, Andrey became the champion of Ukraine.
Previously, the Ukrainian played for the French team Team Arkea Samsic. However, due to family circumstances, the rider left the team in early August and moved to Italy, where he has been staying since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
