The Ukrainian national team will hold another sparring on August 11, and then start at the European Championship
Ukrainian women’s volleyball team defeated the Greek national team in a friendly match at a training camp in Athens.
Our compatriots won a difficult victory with a score of 3:2, while losing to the Greeks in terms of the total number of points scored.
There was a tough fight in the first set, and yet the Ukrainians managed to finish it in their favor — 25:23. Our athletes won the second game with a difference of 6 points. And then the host team played out and took two sets with a big score. Nevertheless, the decisive word was left for the Ukrainian team – 15:11.
On August 11, the teams will play another test match. And then the Ukrainian team will start at the European Championship 2023.
In September, our volleyball players will play in the qualifying round for the 2024 Olympics.
