Fenerbahce reach deal with Manchester United for Fred transfer

The midfielder agreed on personal conditions and will go for a medical examination

Fenerbahce agreed with Manchester United on the transfer of a midfielder Freda.

Earlier it was reported that the Turkish club sent the leadership of the Red Devils a request in the amount of 15 million euros, including bonus payments. Fenerbahçe’s proposal was accepted and a verbal agreement reached. The midfielder also agreed on the terms of a personal contract and will soon go for a medical.

It was reported that Galatasaray and Fulham were interested in the former Shakhtar player. Manchester United are ready to let the Brazilian go this summer.

Fred’s contract with Manchester United expires at the end of June next year. The Brazilian made 56 appearances for the Red Devils in all competitions last season, scoring six goals and providing six assists.

Manchester United will host Wolverhampton Wolves in the first round of the Premier League on 14 August. Fenerbahce will play Gaziantepspor on August 13 at the start of the Super League.
