Zhulin said figure skaters Kurnosenko and Varlamov are ready to perform at the adult level

Coach Alexander Zhulin told that the duo of Varvara Kurnosenko and Fyodor Varlamov, who train under him, are ready to move up to adult level.

Kurnosenko and Varlamov have been performing together for two seasons. Their greatest achievement to date is the junior silver medal at the international Budapest Trophy tournament. The duo could move up to senior level in 2022 but, as Varlamov previously said, they decided to compete as juniors in order to gain common experience.

Are Kurnosenko and Varlamov ready to grow up?

– Well prepared, work. It’s a tough transition, but I think we can handle it,” Zhulin told .

Kurnosenko turned 17 in January, Varlamov turned 21.
