Group choreographer Alexei Mishin Elizaveta Navislavskaya told that the 13-year-old figure skater’s new free program Agatha Petrova is mature in terms of music and sensations.
Petrova is the winner of the St. Petersburg championship. In the national championship in Perm in the 2022/23 season, she took fifth place.
Agatha is fine. She recently presented her short program (directed by Benoit Richaud), the free program remained. She is quite mature, I would say, in terms of music and feeling. It is no longer a junior level, but a program for a girl. Agatha is growing! It has very beautiful lines, it is flexible and plastic.
We are now working closely together – we have talked a lot about this program, analyzed it, researched everything, including views. So a lot has been done, but it’s not the final version yet – it should be better during the season, Navislavskaya told .
The test skates of the Russian junior team, in which Petrova participates, will start on August 16 in Novogorsk.
