On Friday, the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation awards honorary prizes to outstanding personalities in the field of physical culture and sports, who helped to popularize the values of an active and healthy lifestyle among the population, and contributed to new achievements in the sports industry. Matytsin also presented the Order of Honor to figure skating coaches Alexander Zhulin and Sergey Dudakov, first vice-president, sports director of the All-Russian Swimming Federation Viktor Avdienko, Olympic ice hockey champion Sergey Svetlov, medalist of the championship of USSR ice hockey Mikhail Titov.

Alexander Mirzoyan, adviser to the President of the Russian Football Union, received the medal of the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland”, 1st class.
