Kolos got his second victory at the start of the season
Head coach Ears Yaroslav Vishnyak commented on the victory over Veres (2:0) in the 3rd round UPL.
“We won. And victory is always a positive experience. It was a difficult and very nervous match in our performance. In the first minutes, we entered the game poorly. But in general, the impressions are positive,” Vishniac said.
“Quick warnings from Zolotov and Burda, of course, influenced our game. These yellow cards did not allow us to press the opponent high. Veres players are very fast. We did not have time and decided to play more on the counterattacks, so as not to get a second warning and not finish the game in the minority.
“The key episode of the match was a successful replacement of our players. We have strengthened the game with substitutions. And, of course, the penalty that Demchenko earned. The second goal closed the game.”
“We work hard to ensure that the players who come on as a substitute help to maintain the rhythm and put pressure on the opponent. It is very important. Happy for all our players.”
Kolos has not yet lost in the new UPL season and is in second place in the UPL with seven points. In the next round, Vishniac’s team will play away against Rukh on 19 August.
