Athletistic/ Figure Skating. 2002 Olympics silver medalist in ice dancing Ilya Averbukh has explained which skater he will be working with in the new season.
“Now we will set up a short program with Lisa Tuktamysheva, I leave the day after tomorrow. The free program for Matvey Vetlugin, the short program for Kolya Kolesnikov and the two programs of Natalya Khabibullina / Ilya Knyazhuk are ready”, Sport24 quotes Averbukh.
Russian figure skaters have been suspended from participating in international tournaments since March 2022.
Tuktamysheva is the 2015 World and European champion, 2021 World Cup silver medalist.
