Family life should not harm the results of a pair of sports skaters Alena Kostornaya / Georgy Kunitsa, they have good prospects, honored USSR coach Tatyana Tarasova told .

In early 2023, Kostornaya announced the transition from single to pair skating and began performing with Kunitsa. On August 12, the skaters got married. On Monday, the pair’s coach Sergei Roslyakov told that the skaters had returned to the preparation process and were already on the ice.

– They just started skating together, nothing should stop them. They still have good prospects, they are young, they start, they train. There will be a season – let’s see what they can do, – Tarasova told .
