“I still can’t say for sure. It’s a very difficult question. I have a lot of activities now: I’m on the show, right now, for example, I’m in China. I have many shows planned. It is quite difficult to combine all this, but I still cannot give an unambiguous answer – whether I will participate or not. I still really like figure skating, I love training, but we’ll see how everything goes,” Shcherbakova said in an interview in China.
In the 2022/2023 season, Shcherbakova missed the competition due to rehabilitation after knee surgery. However, she took part in show programs and took third place in one of the tournaments. Also, Shcherbakova, together with Alina Zagitova and Alexei Yagudin, acted as a host in the Ice Age television project.
