Kondratyuk wins $10,000 from Plushenko by landing 10 triples in a row

Athletistic/Figure Skating. Mark Kondratyuk, the 2022 Olympic champion in the team championship, as well as European and Russian men’s singles champion, put on a thrilling performance during the show, during which he landed 10 triple axes in a row.

This performance is due to a challenge launched by the double Olympic champion Evgeni Plushenko. Mark Kondratyuk accepted this challenge and demonstrated the complex elements above during the Nutcracker show hosted by Plushenko. Between jumps, a conditional pause was observed, not exceeding 15 seconds. There was $10,000 at stake.
