This is the sixth medal of the Ukrainian team in Budapest
Representatives of Ukraine Vladislava and Marina Alekseeva won the second Silver at the 2022 World Aquatics Championshipswhich takes place in Budapest.
The Alekseev sisters took second place in the pair competition in the free program. Ukrainian women scored 94.1667 points.
World Championship gold was won by a duet from China – Lui Wang and Qianyi Wang (95.5667). Bronze went to the representatives of Austria – Anna-Maria Alexandri and Eirini Alexandri (92.8).
As part of the World Championships in Budapest, the Alekseev sisters also won silver in a duet in the technical program and gold in the team combination. In total, Ukrainian women have nine awards of the world championship.
At the 2022 World Championships, Ukraine has already won six medals: five in artistic swimming and one in swimming (Mikhail Romanchuk, bronze in the 800-meter freestyle).
