West Ham are concerned about the delay in the transfer of Maguire and are exploring alternative options

London club interested in Ta and Kossunu from Bayer

West Ham concerned that the transfer Harry Maguire from Manchester United has not yet taken place. The problem may be personal conditions – the player is interested in additional payments.

Earlier it was reported that the Hammers agreed with Manchester United to buy the England defender for 30 million pounds. However, Harry’s personal contract may become a stumbling block. It is assumed that the 30-year-old player, who previously received a salary increase at Manchester United due to the Champions League, is interested in additional cash payments from the London club.

As a result, West Ham may look to alternative options for reinforcing their central defense. In particular, Jonathan Ta and Odilon Kossunu from Bayer Leverkusen are named among the candidates.

Maguire made 31 appearances for Manchester United in all competitions last season. In the spring of the Premier League, Harry often stayed on the bench.

West Ham finished 14th in the Premier League and won the Conference League last season. In the new league season, the Hammers drew 1-1 against Bournemouth on 12 August. Manchester United in the first round of the Premier League minimally beat Wolverhampton.

On August 19, Manchester United will face Tottenham, and the next day West Ham will host Chelsea.
